Default Mount issue

Hey peeps, My hero has been acting up for the last couple days and the weird thing about it is that I have not done anything new to it. I wanted to flash the new fresh rom and when I connected the phone via usb to my laptop it just charges. The phone does not get recognized by the laptop nor does it ask me if I want to mount the drive. I am running windows 7 and the phone would mount without a problem previously. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

DONATE TO ME
Default Re: Mount issue

If you want to browse your sdcard then pull down the notification bar and select charge only. It will then let you then mount the card and there should be an option at the bottom to always do it or not. Unchecked it.
. It sounds like charge only is set to default. If you are using adb then you have to have it set to charge only.

I wish that was the issue its set to ask me what I want to do which is charge only, htc sync, mount disk drive, or internet sharing. The problem is when I pull down the notification bar there is nothing there only my task panel. It use to ask me to pick an option. Now all of a sudden it doesn't.

lol. That my hero isnt recognized by any pc in my house. It only chrages when connected through the usb cable to a pc. I have tried numerous cables to no avail. I do not have a clue of what can be going on with it. This just happened from one day to another.

Yes, but why two threads about it? We gave you answers in the other thread. If they didn't work, that's fine. Come back and ask again... but do it in the same thread.

Now... did those things not work? What did you try? How did you go about it? Help us help you...

No worries. My rule of thumb, by the way, is to put my questions where I think they go and then let the mode move them if they so desire.
