Rus ROM for S740

---

Russian region unlocked ROM by Mantikor.

ATTENTION: This is the first available ROM with unlocked region. This is test version, that is far from being good. It has a lot of bug's and you flash it on your own risk and responsibility.

How to Flash:
1) Do HardSPL kit for ROSE (S740) by jockyw2001 (For this your device must be software unlocked)

1. connect your ROSE with your PC by USB cable and boot into Windows Mobile
2. wait until ActiveSync is ready (icon green)
3. run "flash-hardspl.bat" to flash the HardSPL. It will create a backup of your
current SPL (called "spl-backup.bin") and creates a file "check.bin" in
subdirector "1" (for diagnostic purposes)
4. the phone will be rebooted automatically
5. you can now flash any cooked or original rom, splash screen or radio rom.

2) Now we can flash our ROM to our device:
1. Un-zip the image file.
2. format your micro SD card to FAT32 mode.
3. Copy image file "ROSEIMG.nbh" to the micro SD card.
4. Turn the device power off and insert micro SD card.
5. Press and hold Volume down + Power button and then release the power button first
to enter Boot loader mode.
6. Wait.
7. When you see such screen press power buton to start Flashing process:


8. When flashing will be finished, you will see screen like this:

8. Now you can reset you devise (plug out you battery for a second and plug it back, than press power button) If everything is fine you will see the download of your new russian rom.



History:
Will somebody have an opportunity to develop russian rom for this device based on WM 6.1 or WM 6.5?????? Pleaaaaase........
My device can't start after fla**** it with original rus rom.................
Started to work only after flashing it with Asian ROM..............
Please help to me and to other brothers with S740 devices))))))))

Hi, how is it going?
Is there any movement in development of ROM?

One man at our local russian forum has told, that it is possible (in some unknown way) to delete regional settings from OEM ROM. Do yo know how is it possible?
