Question use EVO on Prepaid?

Anyone know if you can buy the phone outright and then sign up for the month to month prepaid plan, or if you can get the normal unlimited plan without signing a contract? I'd love to not be tied down to sprint for 2 years as I have heard their service sucks in our area.

Not 100% sure, but I think Sprint alllows this as long as you're buying it outright. But the question is, if you hear the service sucks in your area, why waste the time/money in the first place?

Sprint gives you a 30 day risk-free trial. So take it home, try it out for three weeks, and if it sucks balls, return it to the store and get your money back.

I was thinking the same thing. CDMA unlocking it and putting it onto Virgin Mobile, as it's the same network anyways...

Sprint owns Boost and Virgin, and EVO ESNs will be blocked from being used on those carriers.
