The froyo update for Legend seems to be very likely, I hope it will be released in the next 2 months...anyway we have to continue to email them with the request of froyo...We have to email them every days so don't give up, tons of emails should push them to give us the froyo more quickly!!!

I also asked HTC about Froyo update for the Legend. And see below what a ridiculous answer I got:

Thank you for contacting HTC. Thanks for contacting us about Froyo. We thank you for your interest in our future products, but we cannot officially comment on our future product roadmap. If you have any other inquiries, don’t hesitate to contact us again. Please note that you can contact us via support line. For further details, please go to HTC hotline, Thank you so much for using HTC products. Respect & Regards, HTC Team

I think the representative who answered is pretty uninformed and technically illiterate. After all I haven't been asking about "future products" but for firmware update of a current device... So still no 100% confirmation for Froyo update for the beloved Legend.

I also asked (for the second time) about the update with a link to this

They told me they couldn't officially confirm the upgrade. And told me to look at the official facebook and twitter page. If it's official it will be on those pages.

Too bad it's still not 100% sure
