I value functionality first and design a close second. Based on that I wanted no more than 3 home screens so everything is close and easily/quickly accessible. I also wanted to maximize use of usable widgets so I don't have to open apps to get to commonly viewed info. Lastly, I used only built-in or Market downloadable themes. No custom work. This is the result.
