Does the EVO have the same kind of caller id as the Wildfire?

When someone calls you, your Caller ID doesn’t just tell you their name and number any more – it tells you useful stuff like their Facebook status and birthday date, too.

First of all, I'd like to say that Caller ID feature is pretty freaking awesome.

Second of all, I'd be dumbfounded if HTC didn't include this new version in the Evo. I mean, what's the reasoning on putting it on one of their midrange devices while excluding it from their best smartphone to date?

Unfortunately, no it doesn't. This feature is (as of right now) exclusive to the Wildfire.

As of right now, meaning within the first couple weeks there will most likely be someone who cooks a rom that has it built in, and with the recent rooting of the rom, that day will be probably before launch date of the phone lol

wow, I didn't see anything about that caller id til mentioned here.... really cool
