[ROM] Pays-ROM Desire Sparta v1.3 A2SD++ (Vanilla taste) [06th July 2010]

Here is the "Sparta-ROM". I removed a lot of the HTC Sense / Rosie stuff.
I use the Helix Launcher atm as replacement, but I am not sure if I will keep it. Just a replace for now..
Please report any bugs you may find, so that we can mark this one as stable.

I also would like to now how the battery life is compared to the sense ROMs. Should be even better..

Thx to Paul @MoDaCo to root the Desire and giving us some nice files to work on.

Before installing:
-You need ROOT access to flash this ROM.

-Put your Desire in Recovery Mode

-Fully wipe Data and Cache / wipe Dalvik-cache / wipe SD:ext (with AM Desire Recovery)

-Flash latest ROM from SD Card

-DO A REBOOT AFTER FLASHING

-If you like my ROMs buy me a cold beer

tks for the effort, rom is really quick

one thing found, no pop up window when plug in usb cable

and Can we have lauch pro as default launcher

finaly a great looking vanilla rom, will try it this evening.

What pop-up window? You mean the one that ask you what you'd like to do when connected (charge only, HTC sync, disk drive, etc)? You can easily restore that if you go to "Settings -> Connect with PC -> Ask (check that box). But in the past, that was the cause of some usb bug, don't remember what exactly.

I've already changed to hard disk in settings, but still doesn't work

What doesn't work? The hard disk setting (connection with your PC) or the pop-up that doesn't show up? For the latter one, you need to check that box in the mentioned settings page.
