Default LED Flash on Galaxy S after all?!

Some days ago I emailed some netstores that stated that the Samsung Galaxy S would have LED flash in the specs for the phone. Today I received an email back from handtec.co.uk. According to it the phone has a LED flash. Read and see for yourself...

"Thanks for your email,

Please accept my apologies for the delay in replying here, however we have been doing our research to ensure you receive the correct information, and in response to this i can confirm the Samsung I9000 does have an LED Flash, however in regards to the video light we cannot confirm this until the device has been released.

I am very sorry i could not answer your question at this current time however as soon as we have the item we will be more than happy to test this out for you, in the meantime the only information we have managed to obtain from our sources is shown on the attached file.

Please advise if we can assist you further?

Kind regards."

It would appear we both shared a similar reply today from handtec.
Mine also asked another question as well on the Video LED Light.

I did not notice your topic you created.
See my topic on the same subject here:- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=690026
.........I don't always get your questions right.... but you'll certainly know I've tried.

P.S. Many thanks for the Thanks votes. Thanks received are converted into a charitable donation.

I mailed back too handtec for checking what their source is in this subject. If they are not lying us right up in the face I think Samsung Galaxy S will get a LED flash...

"Dear Mr Karlander.

This information has been passed to us from Samsung distribution in UK.

The information provided to you in the attachment has been passed direct from Samsung."

It will not have flash. GSM Arena stated this in the last days. They contacted Samsung and got an answer saying that it will not have a LED flash.

Why not just build it in? Every god damn phone has it. Even HTC nowdays!

personally i couldn't care less about a led.
what bothers me is that they did not include a touchpad.
instead only one large home button. why that?

I'm neither saying it has or has not but when you look at those pictures from GSMArena they are from the earlier pre-production models.
The reason I say this is when you look at the supplied images on GSMArena and focus on the one that shows the back of the phone, now then look at the Speaker Grills and you see we have have two grills running horizontally.
Post production models have three grills running vertically... In other words there is 'something' fundamentally different that has changed to alter the Speaker Grill.
