Default Goldcard and flashing new rom?

Hi

i have unique problem

My tattoo has got really stuck backcover and cant be removed in any case. If I try any harder either the screen will break or the cover.

So basically I can't remove sd card.

So, I have made a goldcard using diskdrive option and have rooted my tattoo so that I can install custom rom. I have done nandroid backup and can see folders and files like nandroid, boot.img, recovery.img and su on the sd card.

My worry is if I follow the flash with recovery rom or use wipe data option from recovery menu

1) will the goldcard still remain in place or will it get wiped?
2) can i use the same sd card as normal?
3) will it always remain as goldcard?

i used a goldcard and i didnt reverse it. nut untill later, but i've used it as a memorycard while goldcarded. thats all i know. basicly, all the goldcard does is allowing you to get custom recovery image
