Question To ensure I can get root, do I need to get the EVO the second it comes out?

As the title implies.... To ensure I can get root, do I need to get the EVO the second it comes out?

The reason I'm wondering is cuz if I give HTC and Sprint an extra week or two after the release, isn't it possible they could fix the software. Would I lose my ability to root in this case? I don't want that to happen.

very unlikely, but even if they do that, the update will be rooted soon enough.
