[DEV] Bluetooth file sending.

Does anyone know what exactly controls the file types that are allowed sending by bluetooth, I want to hack together some modifications that will allow the system to send files such as PDFs etc by bluetooth without third party programs like Medievals "BT File Transfer". Is it somehow controlled by MIME types or similar.

I'm taking a look throgh all bluetooth related files as we speak.

I've had the same problem with an .apk yesterday.
I worked around with changing the name of the file to ***.apk.jpg so I can send it with Bluetooth...
On the other phone I had to change the name back to ***.apk
