Default Must have apps

Ok, not sure this is the best place for this thread, but, here it goes.

I'm one of the masses leaving the iphone for an Evo. So I have zero experience on any Android system.

And I realize that this is a very subjective question to ask, but....

What are the MUST HAVE apps?? I do plan to root the phone once the instructions are released, in case that helps.

Thanks for any advice for this Android noob.

DONATE TO ME
Well here's my list of must haves:

Astro or any other file manager
Handcent if you want a different SMS app (I dont but many like it)
Google Voice (assuming you have a GV account)
Mint.com if you have a mint.com account
Facebook
Facebook Sync (syncs your FB contact pics with your phone contacts)
Twitter
Mixzing (music player)
Shazam or Soundhound (Midomi)
eBuddy IM

Hmm That's all I can think of right off the top of my head.
