What is 2.2?
2.2 is the android OS that comes after 2.1. It is canonically known as Froyo, which is a type of frozen yogurt that is extremely tasty. It has lots of cool new features such as stock JIT, tethering, hotspot capabilities, etc. Due to Sprint's restrictions and HTC's crummy UI "upgrade" known as sense, I doubt we will ever see any of these features included in an official ROM. Actually, on this point, I guess HTC would rewrite sense so it works with JIT? Anyone know something about how this would work.

When will we get 2.2 on our Evo's
Based on sprint/HTC's update cycle for the Hero, I calculate we will see an official 2.2 update for the Evo five minutes before the universe collapses of heat death.

1st: LOL

2nd: JIT will automatically enhance the speed of everything on your phone.
