The Evo has 512M of RAM right? So, why when I open advanced task killer it only lists around 130M with no processes running? I know android has super multitasking memory powers , but with no processes running I would expect to see more available.

Just because it doesn't show in task killer doesn't mean everything stopped running.

Apps on your phone and system files have to be running for the phone to work.

You can go to Menu > Settings > Applications > Running services and/or Manage applications and explore everything that's running.

Re: Evo Memory question
In advanced task killer settings change the security level to low and reboot. Run again and see a lot more apps running
