Have you rebooted android after installing terminal?
Otherwise remove and try again, cuz it should be working normally.

lol, i even changed the radio to .91
and nothing, i have read the trhead many times, i've applied the nv-ram hack and no dice,

on a side note, my wife's htc pure works flawlesly with the froyo build, wifi works awesome, even the game you don't like(angry birds rio) runs a little faster on her phone than mine, but heck i'll keep trying different solutions posted on xda, i'll eventually get it working, maybe!!!

Well after much appreciated help from arrrggg, my tilt2 now has working Wifi,
after he had me look at ls /sdcard I found the the /sdcard/wifi-nvram.txt was actually written by my phone as /sdcard/wifi-nvram.txt.txt so after arrggg showed me how to look for the file i was able to type it in as I saw it written on my phone and voila

Instructions
1) Open your favorite text editor (notepad works fine) and replace the X's on the macaddr line with your real MAC address which you should be able to find within Windows Mobile. Save your file as wifi-nvram.txt.
2) Copy the file to the top-level folder of your sdcard via the same method you used to get android onto your phone.
3) Go to Dev Tools within Android on your phone and select Terminal Emulator.
4) At your terminal prompt, type the following commands:

su
cp /sdcard/wifi-nvram.txt /data/wifi-nvram.txt

And that's it. If you're experiencing the same problem that pitflyer and elvindsouza were, this should work for you.
So I loaded android up and can not find the dev tool section??? Am I missing something. I appreciate all the work and want to try this with my touch pro.

Thank you

Thank you
App is in AndroidApps/Other if you're using one of the XDAndroid builds.

The app was pulled from the system image when we went from 'Engineering' builds to 'User Debug' builds. Same with Spare Parts - but again, there's an APK provided in the AndroidApps folder.
