So when you say to go into android and run the terminal emulator. You are saying????? I start the fx06 build posted and can find the emulator app. I am familiar with it as I have it on my droidx.

I use ConnectBot on the Market.

If you want Dev Tools, there's an APK in AndroidApps, again if you're using an XDAndroid build.

Can you explain more about your setup? Kernel, build, etc. Also, what does wifi do? You may not need to do this process, depending on how far wifi gets.

Using the fx06 build found here. Loaded as is did not change the kernel. Wifi searches and finds the signal, allowed me to put in the wep key and then says connecting but never connects.

WEP doesn't work. Read the FAQ. You do not need to do this process/fix if your wifi turns on & successfully scans. All of this info is in the FAQ!!!

Instructions
1) Open your favorite text editor (notepad works fine) and replace the X's on the macaddr line with your real MAC address which you should be able to find within Windows Mobile. Save your file as wifi-nvram.txt.
2) Copy the file to the top-level folder of your sdcard via the same method you used to get android onto your phone.
3) Go to Dev Tools within Android on your phone and select Terminal Emulator.
4) At your terminal prompt, type the following commands:

su
cp /sdcard/wifi-nvram.txt /data/wifi-nvram.txt

And that's it. If you're experiencing the same problem that pitflyer and elvindsouza were, this should work for you.
jajaja you are the man F22...........works perfect.........
