Default Help with wallpaper

My evo will not change my background and always reverts back to a red ribbon wallpaper but live wallpapers work. So my problem is that I cannot change my background because it reverts back to another wallpaper and my question is how do I change it.

I know that menu and wallpaper changes it normaly though

how are you trying to change the background... i tried with astro fille manager and so far its been a no go, but if you hit up the gallery in apps, find pic then hit menu button, you have an option to set as....

this is how i've been going about changing my wallpapers that are having those issues.

from any home screen just hit menu>wallpapers
you can pick where you want to get it (live, wallpapers, or gallery) from there

pick it, be done with it
If you need help, try IRC #Cyanogenmod in freenode.net
Someone may be able to help you there. I will try, if I'm on.

I have the same problem, however I set the wallpaper it will sooner or later revert back to the same original one as in the first post... when I have a problem to actually set the wallpaper a restart will solve it but then it will randomly revert to the same wallpaper again. It happens on a daily basis except when I use the live wallpaper, even with a wallpaper rotation.
Using Sprint EVO G4 - 2.1
