Default docx, xlsx, pwi

Hello,
I am coming from a windows mogul. I should be getting the evo later today!
Looking through the user manual.....but it is vague on some details

Will the evo be able to open: docx, xlsx, pwi files? (manual says .doc, xls can be opened in quickoffice)

if not what is the suggested app?

regards

eeek!

I transferred all of my docx, xlsx, and pwi files.

Only a couple can be opened! Some of them show that the file could be read, but if it could be it wouldnt zoom in!

Actually I should have phrased the original question differently....
is there an application that can view, edit, modify, and save docx, xlsx, and pwi files?

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

How come I can't make a new document with Quickoffice. Is it read only?
