I just emailed Otterbox to see if they had on their schedule to release a case for the HTC Evo and they just said they were making the Defender and the Commuter for the Evo! Yes! Excitement! I for one am a big fan of Otterbox cases, they will kick Seidio to another dimension! xD

Thanks so much for posting! I'm a firefighter (as well as the owner of a small tech company...lol)...anyhow, these are really popular in the fire dept, very sturdy.

Keep checking them out on facebook, and liking posts about the evo, the more interest they see the faster they will push one out.

I wanted an otterbox, but they delayed too long and I picked up another case...

That's funny, because I emailed them last weekend and they said they had no plans. Additionally, they've responded to a few Evo related Facebook posts with

"We're looking into options for the EVO but at this time I do not have any details."


So, really, it doesn't seem like they will have anything soon.

They're a pretty popular company where I live, as they're based here. Definitely hoping they eventually make something, but at this point, I'm not holding my breath.

I emailed them too, and they said that they did not know about making cases for the EVO, and that if they did that I should check their website for updates.
