I stayed w/ the stock kernel because of the great reviews of good battery life.....we'll see.

Q: Streaming Music is bad
A: Follow this guide. This should fix Pandora, but will have adverse affects on Yahoo Music.


I would STRONGLY recommend wiping b4 flashing. After flashing the ROM, flash the updated Wimax.

****If you have not flashed v1.7 w/ the OTA updates (ROM1) or equivalent, you must flash it 1st!!

Bottom line...if you have NOT flashed a 1.47.651.1 PC36IMG.zip to get ALL the OTA updates (not just radio & wimax), you need to flash ROM1

To flash ROM1, download PC36IMG.zip to your SD card. Power off phone, Hold down vol down + power. Once in bootloader it will scan & read PC36IMG.zip. When done, press vol up to apply the update, when done choose to reboot.

If it means anything to you my HTC Music widget runs and looks fine using OMJ's ROM

This happen to me a lot on my hero if you had something on one of your screens didn't wipe and it got removed by the flashing of the Rom somehow that would appear

Awesome ROM.
Finally this one fixed my 4G issues and now 4G works.
The only thing that is now working for me is the Sprint Hotspot (yes i pay sprint $30/mo).
It works fine on stock but on this ROM it connects but no internet.
The wifi tether app works a treat though
