Working for me:

AData 16GB Class 6 (used on one phone)
Transcend 16GB Class 6 (used on two different phones)

Not Working:
Kingston 8GB Class 4 (tried in two different phones, over 40 tries)

2GB PNY class 2(?) appears to work with infinity678's method (plugging in usb during vibrate after hitting recovery).

Someone else said they got the stock Verizon 2GB Sandisk working using Krayzee's method (clicking the SD in and out).

2GB Shipped SD card would not work with any method for me.

1GB PNY class 2 I pulled from my TP2 worked 1st try with:

1) run loop
2) adb reboot recovery

Root did not stick the first time... same method worked 1st try on my second root attempt

I have a generic 4g class 4 card. I got it for 9.95 from Target and it came with a microSD to SD adapter, microSD to usb adapter, and a free song download from target about a year ago. It was packaged by Dane-Elec.

So re-cap:
Generic (Dane-Elec packaging)
4gig
class 4
DeekJX
Dropbox referral: Easy way to send files between computers, tablets and phones.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Retired Phones:
HTC Droid Incredible
Kaiser (ATT Tilt - KAIS100) International use only
