Question HDMI all the time?

is there a way to take advantage of the hdmi out put all the time. it seems to only work while its playing a video. it doesn't when u use YouTube or sprint TV.

This would take a lot of hacking. Right now HTC/Sprint have custom drivers and code that intercepts any VideoView and outputs it to HDMI. I don't even know where we'd begin to extend to other stuff. Maybe once kernel source is released? Even then that might not contain what we need.

Hmm, I wonder if we could do a crazy hack where a streaming screen capture is plugged into a VideoView. Definitely would require root, don't know if it's possible, and would probably have crappy framerate. But if somebody wants to try it, more power to them.

Others have said it, but I think there are bluetooth gamepads that can let you play nesoid, snesoid, and gameboid. Then you could use the pop-out leg for the Evo and all look at it.
