[ROM] CoolBits 1.1 (Orange rom + cn.fyodor's kernel + other tweaks)

I created a personal ROM with push and test a lot.
I use this every day... and after testing others i always come back to this one.
It's very polished and fast... i share it with you to try.






Added or removed features:
- rooted + superuser.apk
- cn.fyodor's hacked kernel (tnx)
- no orange apps
- google apps included + some other free apps
- /system R/W with "adb remount"
- dalvik-cache moved to /cache
- hacked market + enabler
- original donut browser
- wifi tethering
- 150Mb free space after install
- great battery life
- EVERYTHING works...

not working only:
- bluetooth file transfers

Languages enabled:
- English
- French
- Spanish

To enable other languages... install More Locale 2 app from market.
Its free and it will let you select your language.

Most languages are included but not enabled... More Locale enables them.

New in 1.1:
- fixed permissions of "reboot" (does not reboot from Android Commander)
- new "su" + superuser.apk
- more ring and notification sounds + converted all to .ogg (loop fix)
- Twitter app + widgets added
- more locales with MoreLocale2 app (included)

Do complete wipe before flashing!!

Flashing 1.1 will delete your /data
So do a backup of your apps and settings before!

Rename to update.zip as usual.

what about bluetooth and app2sd? :P

No app2sd... no need :P
Bluetooth works as in all 1.6 HTC roms...

Um screenshots work in new forum theme... ill try to fix.

Complete wipe is a factory reset.
Easyest way to do it is in Amon_RA recovery before flashing update.zip and after you do nandroid backup.

@coolbits.... i love ur ROM the very first moment i saw the screen shots....
it would have been very nice if u had included A2SD & bluetooth.... i wouldn't have had changed my current Abyzou ROM if ur ROM had all the features....

Bluetooth file transfers will never work on HTC 1.6 rom.
As for APP2SD i see no need... you can install well over 100 apps now with no problem + you can remove sdcard at any time.
With APP2SD enabled your stuck with that sdcard... no removing.
