Default Slight lag on the Droid?

I'm pretty sure I don't remember this happening before, but I might be wrong. I was using my phone and suddenly the UI wasn't as smooth as it used to be, the app drawer (I use LauncherPro) seems to load but freezes for like a quarter of a second when the 3D part of the menu (not sure how to describe it, I can give a screenshot of it if you want) loads. I guess I could get myself to live with it, it I'd like to get it back to how it was before if that's possible, help would be appreciated.
Phone: Motorola Droid
OS: Android 2.2 Cyanogen 6 RC3 Froyo FRG01B
Kernal: ChevyNo1 250-1250 MHz Ultra Low Voltage

Rooted, running Froyo. Using a automatic oc kernal (the one that pushes it to 1250 MHz And just a few apps (Droid LED and Wifi manager) that didn't work/I didn't need. I do have quite a few apps though, but it didn't always do this with a lot of apps installed.

Theres a very good chance it is the kernel. To my knowledge 1.25GHz is a little unstable (correct me if I'm wrong. I don't have a droid, but a milestone).
