Welcome to the forums. I suggest you read the faq. http://sites.google.com/site/androidport/faq

For the wifi you should search the forum because it has been aswered a lot of times.

Make sure you Force CDMA mode, and remove the Sprint SIM card or any other SIM card before you boot into Android

You may want to make sure you aren't on roaming only mode too, sometimes that can cause a signal fail (it did for me).
Sprint: Stock Sanyo Phone (RIP) >> Stock LG Phone (RIP) >> Palm Treo 650 (RIP) >> LG Rumor 2 >> HTC Touch Pro (Energy's ROM) (RIP) >> HTC Touch Pro ][ >> HTC Diamond on XDAndroid

I have the same no service problem cdma sprint tp2..in winmo phone settings I changed mode off operation to cdma only..also in the startup.txt I have "force_cdma=1" without quotations of course..still in android when I go to to wireless and networks airplane mode is automatically checked and when clicked will not uncheck itself..suggestions?

edit: I figured out..the sprint tp2 has a sim card, wtf! lol I pulled it out and got signal..

The froyo v3 version doesn't need the sim card removed to work and it is faster wifi and data also works
