Default Slide ROMs and Bluetooth

Hey guys this is just a question im asking based on something i've noticed. so plz dont flame me for my ignorance if you have the answer

I'm a big fan of the TouchSlide2.1 Roms that have been coming out for G1 because they look good + they come with theme changer which to me is a huge win (i give a shout out to king on this1 )but unfortunately, ALL of the touchslide 2.1 roms for G1 lack bluetooth regardless of all the cool things poppin up

ultimately i just want to know why is it that noone has been able to successfully make BT work for touchSlide Roms. Should i give up hope and just stick to CM5 or will there be a slide rom that has all the features of a traditional AOSP? - if im wrong and there is 1 out there, let me know but otherwise would love an answer

I believe that Bluetooth has never worked for any Sense ROM. Not just the Slide ones.

Sense was never built for the G1 so all that we have are ports from different hardware (ex: hero, legend, slide). Since they are different hardware, that means that different drivers are needed. If you want to backport the bluetooth driver from the CM kernel and push it to a sense kernel then be my guest.

Currently using: RETIRED: White T-Mobile G1
| ROM: CM7 | RADIO: 2.22.28.25 | SPL: 1.33.0013d
RIP: G2! ROOT! HELLZ YEAH!!

| ROM: CM7 | RADIO: 26.04.02.17(S-OFF) | THEME: Mixer Theme | MODS: Screen Color Calibration | Minimum Brightness Patcher | Kernel: Pershoot |

Thanks to all the devs that make me love my phone!
