Vanilla Bean

Notice:
I'm not going to develop this ROM any more. Compared to the AOSP sources Indigo Bean (CyanogenMod) offers more features out of the box and makes my life and yours a lot easier.

  • More app icons from hdpi-ressources (resized to 48x48)
  • Added Dutch, Spanish, Swedish, Norwegian, Portuguese and Czech locales
• 0.2.1 "update-script = epic fail"
  • Fixed error in update script (wrong permissions)
• 0.2
  • Replaced nearly all libs with their AOSP equivalent (highly experimental)
  • Fixed SD mass storage mode
  • Fixed Music.apk
  • Added Superuser.apk
  • Added YouTube.apk (to data/app)
• 0.1 "In ya face, HTC!"
  Initial release

Known issues:

• YouTube broken; does't play videos
• Camera needs a lot of tweaking (resolution, zoom)
• Search for carriers broken
• No devices to test Bluetooth; reportedly broken

Congratulations on getting the port working!
Do you reckon the touchscreen patches will work on the cynanogen? because i was porting that but that problem stopped me?

it should work

it works so far, one minus is that it isnt any swedish language,

I guess so. You could try to apply that diff and see where it leads you.

okay, i will try again in a little while, is it long time until the swedish language is available? and the app superuser permission isnt there?

Edit, will flash in this rom again when it is a little bit more stable, cant get get any network connection at all, too bad, i really liked the clean eclair, with flan lockscreen and everything,

edit2: i can make call and textmessage, but i couldnt use market without WiFi,

Awesome, just what I was looking for!

Found a few bugs worth noting. The screen auto-brightness doesn't work and it seems that the sdcard won't get mounted when I connect the phone through usb.

Did you try MoreLocale 2 from the Market?
