Default European version??

This is getting quite ridiculous now. At first i was hyped up for the HD2, then found out it had Win Mobile. Then i got all hyped up for the EVO, but found out it was only for Sprint. Now im hearing about the Droid X, but again, its an effing CDMA phone. Seriously us Europeans are being shafted. The best phone available this side would have to be the Desire, and thats quite poor compared to the DX.

So anyway when do you guys think, if ever, will this phone come to Europe?

Sounds like Europe should invest in a CDMA network :P LOL

I'm sure there will be a 4.3 inch GSM phone coming out soon.

well in the conference just now they said that the DX is only for Verizon, but they may have a similar phone is Europe. I hope that confirms a GSM version, and i hope it comes out soon.

Man ..this really sucks ...The whole carrier exclusivity deal is so ....
First. the EVO is CDMA ....then...the next - actually at the moment, the only alternative - the Droid X is also CDMA ...the americans get the best of the best and Europe is lagging behind (I don't care about the rest of the world ) ...So far, the Desire is the best offer here, but it's a butt-ugly phone...and it has a small screen ...I saw on some forums that it may be possible that a GSM version of the phones may be released over 6 months or so...but that's quite a while ...So...Why are we GSM users left behind ?
