DONATE TO ME
Default inverted facebook app

This Will give you a black background to facebook with white text. Also gave it some color menus and better icons. Hope you enjoy

I modded and ported some of this with help from JsChiSurf.

This app is fully functinal and ready to use. I included a couple of differnt app types. The first is a signed flashable version, the second is the installable app (put on sd and install like a 3rd party app)(Hasent been tested yet so hopefully it works), the third is a tar file for those [phones who have to have it in that form to work correctly.

FaceBook_Black_Signed.zip

com.facebook.katana.apk

Facebook in tar file

Thanks for this, would look sweet on the X10 black!!!

However...
Getting the 'Facebook cannot be installed on this phone' error.
Maybe because it doesn't like to overwrite the one installed on the phone as that is a system app (apparently )

We have root though, so maybe when that is available to all we can uninstall the 'system' version and replace with this.

Or maybe we can change the package name so it doesn't try to overwrite facebook, but instead install facebookblack instead

EDIT: I can make this change tonight and test on my phone, rather than wasting your time trying it

EDIT2: Sorry, after reading that last edit, I can see it sounds terribly ungrateful. It is not meant like that. What I mean is that rather than you trying to fix something that I am assuming you can't test (and is probably not useful for most of the android community), I can make the change and test.

Yes I use your package and resigned the application still it dosent install on X10

Im guessing when we use external signature rather than original code, at the time of upgrade it will not allow. but if we can do a fresh installation it should work. I will try to workaround this.

Nice mod, I like it, too bad still not ready for X10
