Default Lock Screen Widget??

Is there any widget or shortcut for locking the device just like the power button does?

I find it wery tricky to lock the phone with the power button an i would prefer the lock on the screen?

So just a simple "widget" to lock the screen??

If none answered your question that means that they don't know, and probably are not interested in investigating any further, u know how to use google?

h++p://stackoverflow.com/questions/1875669/calling-hidden-api-in-android-to-turn-screen-off

Reading this tells me that u probably need root since it calls for hidden function "setScreenState" , but i am just a noob at this so don't listen to me.

Thanks Tkalli and Sareen, but I love the original glass lockscreen.
I want a very simple widget button which only lock the screen as the hardware button.

If you can access paid apps, search for "screen off". I never had to use the power button to off the phone anymore
Current Device
Samsung Galaxy Note II LTE N7105

Smartphone History
Dopod 838 Pro -> Asus P750 -> HTC Touch Pro -> HTC Touch Pro2 -> Samsung Galaxy S -> Samsung Galaxy SII -> Asus Padfone -> Samsung Galaxy Note II LTE -> ??

Thanks Seifer to you too,
but screen off seem change the lock screen, can you confirm?

I had already found all of these application, but would like keep the original screen.
In other words, would only a very simply button wich lock the screen as the hardware
button, nothing else.

Regards
