Default Screen durability

Has anyone tested the screen on the i9000?
Because I'd like to know if you need a screen protector or if it has "gorilla glass".

Thanks!

I think it only has tempered glass which is stronger than normal glass but not as good as gorilla glass. Ive seen one report of someone scratching their screen so far so a screen protector might be needed.

I don't think it has Gorilla Glass, but I think I'm likely to make the (brave?) decision not to use a screen protector on mine - will be my first capacitive device and I'd like it to stay slick.

I'm interested as to whether the screen is oleophobic, too?

I'd like to know this also...as having an oleophobic screen is a godsend, can see the screen for longer before having to clean it!
Is the screen at least as durable as a Desire/Nexus?
