OpenRUU - RUU Shell Script For Linux & Mac

This is a shell script to flash an official RUU from HTC.

You do not need root.

The script will:

• NEW! Extract a rom.zip from an RUU & works on any device!
• Get your current ROM version
• Get Your Current HBOOT Version
• Get Your Battery %
• Reboot into RUU Mode
• Flash the ROM using fastboot or NEW! Flash the rom in HBOOT without a PC!
• Reboot your phone

Need to clean up the fastboot flash script. Will do it in the morning.

Then it's time to get the download version ready for when I get enough donations & then I will look at windows.

In the longer term I hope to make a live cd with TinyCoreLinux...

HBoot 0.8 Asia stock ROM

Hi, i have desire unlocked with Asia ROM 1.19.707.7 , HBoot 0.8

This ROM has selecting of Chinese and other far-east languages which bothering me at the input selecting and i don't use at all.

I want to use your method to install WWE ROM only without Rooting my device (as i understand ).
HTC informed me that my device is Unbranded Unlocked But Region locked !!
And it seems i have to go for Gold card , Root , Unroot to install back the new stock WWE ROM Bla , Bla , Bla which i am trying to avoid at the moment.

NOW
1- Is this method will install WWE 1.15 to my device without a need to Root?
2- Can i upgrade after the WWE 1.21 using the RUU classic method?
3- Is the HBoot 0.8 will remain?

Just goldcard and then flash

If you have Windows then just use the RUU these scripts do not do anything extra/allow you to get past anything they are just RUUs for Linux & Mac.
