If Bell didn't, then MMS info is no need.
On previous android build, phone worked. On this build it does not.

you mean mms or just internet?
I can't really speak for Bell user anyway as i am using TELUS device.
As far as TELUS cdma pda phone goes.. we don't have MMS support, so all i need to type in for APN is internet and data will work.

    symlink /mnt/sdcard /sdcard
/mnt/sdcard should be a symlink to sdcard but I think there is a problem with permissions creating at bootup, after bootup i can't symlink it (readonly filesystem).

Don't have time now trying to modifie the rootfs to export /sdcard as storage, will test it later tonight. if nobody doest it before :)
Thanks for looking into this. I was just going to ask about what is up with it.

Data is not my concern at the moment, I am more concerned with the phone process itself (calling and answering)

Default 2.2 on touch pro 2

hey i followed the instructions, replaced the files and updated the roofts, an everything seems to be working!
sound is not working, neither is youtube, but hey thats with all the touch pro 2 builds
backlight on the hardware keys stay on all the time, so that's a huge battery drain lol
keyboard seems to be working perfectly fine for me
everythings really fast, marketplace works and phone calls and sms do as well.
a few force closes here and there
switching to landscape caused a force close, but when using it in text messaging it seems to be fine.
also vibrate doesnt work? an since sound doesnt work, the phones always on silent
all in all... its sweet for being an only alpha build lol

I tried setting EXTERNAL_STORAGE to /sdcard , i din't get a warning sd card was not mounted, but gallery said there was no sd card mounted.. tried also modifiing the rootfs, i deleted /mnt/sdcard, created a link from /mnt/sdcard to /sdcard , I can browse the files and see files in /mnt/sdcard but gallery stil reports no sdcard is mounted ...

So you did not have any looping boot problem like me and NeoMatrixJR (link to his post) have? Can you tell me (or us) what files you replaced? And what version (or date) rootfs you are using?

Cool Chrome to phone anyone?

Is chrome to phone working for anyone? That was supposed to be one of the main highlights of Froyo.

BTW, great job guys! I sense that we are making swift progress with Froyo.
