But i'm not sure...here is the changelog http://gitorious.org/xdandroid-eclair/eclair-rootfs/commit/96e7c18
I hope that we can get it fully functional in order to finally get rid of WinMo.
Thanx for all hard work again, devs!
I can confirm that wifi scanning is working in froyo with rootfs from 27/6. But it still can't connect to anything.
CazH
just checked for that and its not avaliable... i dont think its an open-source feature. However there is USB tethering which is almost as good
i'm also releasing a test build for people to test. Remember this is alpha and things aren't fully functional. One thing i really want to be tested is GPRS/data connections as it isn't working for me but working for others. (note they are on diamond devices) so i'm quite curious to see how it is on other devices.
Just testing it on my RAPH100 atm, it appears to be rather sluggish compared to the previous 2.1 build (appears mostly down to the new launcher, android menus are fine). Booting is fast after the initial boot. WiFi scans fine as intentional.
P.S i did delete data.img for a "fresh" start.
On my raphael:
speed - ok
neocore (no music) - 19.7 fps
wifi - works
no sound
no bluetooth
no sdcard - but when i installed explorer i can see my sdcard...
thank alot for this build.
Now that's a statement! What's wrong?I feel there's an unnecessary gap between the XDAndroid team and the XDA community.
Just gonna continue my discussion here, since the other thread will get ignored.
See, this sort of attitude is the reason why some bugs will never get fixed. You clearly ignore the fact that it's troubling others. As over half of the bug tickets filed on the kernel are ignored as well. I understand that this is a community effort, but it's annoying when the users try to help out by reporting their experiences only to see it get shot down with an "lol, I do not experience this, so notmyproblem.jpg".. or at least, that's the impression I've been getting since February. I've since switched back to Windows Mobile 6.1 as I feel there's an unnecessary gap between the XDAndroid team and the XDA community.
