Question Problem with rooting the Rock

Hy i have the following problem

if i open any Android system recovery and apply the update.zip

following error comes up:

E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command

-- Install from sdcard...
Finding update package...
Opening udate package...
Verifying update package
E:EOCD marker occurs after start of EOCD
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.

I've tried everything from the rooting thread (Post 1.)

My specs: Motorola Milestone 2.1
Provider: A1 Austria

I've also tried to flash the vulnerable_recovery_only_RAMDLD90_78.sbf RSD Lite and it says:

Failed flashing process. Failed flashing process. (0x7100); phone connected

Here are the details of my stone:

IMEI/ESN/MEID: N / A
Technology: N / A
Software Version: N / A
Flex Version: N / A
Bootloader Version: v0x009074
DRM Version: N / A
AP Die ID: 1960010bca6e0304000000000400
BP Die ID: 0000000000000000000000000000
AP Public ID: 6a0c4b95d4448a2dc9a300fd91cc9da7f47b79a6
BP Public ID: 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000

If you are using the GOT Rom, It has previously injected with the vulnerability, and flash of it will fail.
You just need to install the superuser app as i read on previous posts,

Try that, regards.

flash only vulnerability recovery using RSD, after that use OpenRecovery and do what you want.
Try flashing device connected in BL directly.

I had a similar problem, I'm still not entirely sure what caused it.

I deleted the Motorola USB drivers (from Device manager and appwiz.cpl) and reinstalled them, and used a different version of RSDLite. 4.6 I believe, in place of 4.5.x.
