Default Rooting and Froyo Rom?

So could I bother someone to walk me through the process of rooting? And then flashing the standard froyo rom?

The last time I seen their video's they were out of date for the rom flashing section. They still used a PC to push the recovery to phone.

It's now much safer and easier to do the step 1 of rooting then use fake flash or unrevoked to flash a new rom.

Follow this tutorial for rooting

And then there's a few different FroYo ROMs in the Desire Android Development section
