Default Currently in California from the UK

Hi,

I'm currently in the US and would love to buy an MT3G for the wife, it's a really nice phone.
However will it work fully in the UK without issues?
Galaxy NOTE II .....loving it! Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 3g P6800

In short, I think so. Most T-Mobile phones, especially smartphones, are quad band. You're probably going to need a different UK SIM card, though.

Here's a link to the MT3GS spec sheet: http://bit.ly/c3Hm3v. I don't know what frequencies are used in the UK, but I'm sure it will work in some capacity.

A friend of mine is in Israel right now with a mt3gS and all he had to do was buy a sim card for that location.

you also need to get it unlocked.. Some sites offer the service for as low as 10$ U.S. or if you pay the full price at tmobile you can ask them for the code and they should allow you to unlock it
