Changing Status Bar Size? (EVO / X10)

(EVO / X10) Is there a way to possibly change the size of the status bar on the EVO (with root)? Ideally I would love to have a copy of the status bar that the Xperia X10 has. It's smaller (fits more icons) and just looks nicer to me. Seems more size-appropriate considering the large screen. I haven't really seen any overal status bar size changes with various roms, just different icons/designs.
