Default AU users : Whirlpool down

The huge technology forum in Australia www.forums.whirlpool.net.au is down and out atm.

There was a fast growing thread on there dedicated to this new phone, and thought if you find this site, stay here and sign up It is more in depth than the general discussions of the i9000.

Pop in and say hey

Rod I think you are one I know for sure

Hi dan,

DDOS or something for whirlpool isn't it? sucks, but at least I'm more productive today without checking the forums as much!

I love this part:

Modesto maintained his sense of humour during the attack.

"Looks like Whirlpool was the target of at least 20,000 spams or scams coming through the portal," he told iTnews.
I'm going to try a factory reset on my galaxy tonight, battery usage lasts me from 7am to 10pm now, but at 10pm its flat, and thats with me barely using the phone all day (train ride internet only and text message checking). Also have very flaky wifi, keeps dropping in and out.
I don't want to have to send my phone back to the Uk though so going to try factory reset to confirm its not apps causing it and I might buy a spare battery (techbuy has got them) to test it out. Want to eliminate as much as possible without shipping it back..

Yeah, I got some epic giggles from that as well.

Hopefully the OptusWorld store here will have one to play with tomorrow.
