Default App install location

There are apps on a certain website that can only be downloaded using the barcode scanner or by browsing to them on your phone.

If selected they download and install automatically and I can find where the install files is saved.

Every time I flash my phone with a new rom I have to re-download these apps. Does anyone know where they are saved?

Have you checked your downloads folder on your sd card? You should be able to see your download history via the browser - try selecting Menu > More > Downloads.

If you used barcode scanner, you can find the history of the scanned links in your menu.

Maybe you can find the other files if you search for apk files on your SD card when mounted on your pc.

Just use one of the many backup programs available on the Market.
