Help, no sound!

After changing the housing of my MyTouch, I turned it on and found that there was no sound. No "ring" upon boot up completion, no beep when changing volume, no sound when playing media. Does anyone know what might be the problem?

None of the ribbons or flex cables have broken and I was careful not to unnecessarily touch any of them. Speakers were working prior to housing change.

Can anyone help me?

Sorry, false alarm. Silly me, forgot to transplant the speaker onto the new housing. :x
