Broken Speaker

Well while on vacation my speaker on my Aria crapped out. I can still make calls but the external (ringer) speaker is dead. Sometimes it will cut in and out when I shake it.

No worries though, a warranty replacement is already in the mail and AT&T handled it pretty well, not paying anything out of pocket.

Has anyone else had this issue or was mine just a fluke?

On a related note, what is an easy way to clone all my phone's data and apps onto an identical new aria? There will be a point where I'll have both phones before I send the defective one back.
