simply put: No. Made for eclair, i believe 2.38 or 3.11 if Telus

Maybe xslntx is working on the 2.2.1

Personally i jumped back from GOT's 2.2.1 b/c the battery life and other issues are still present. I'd rather a fast, long lasting, and stable and RELATIVELY bugless, Rom.

Antonyfl, thanks for the heads up. One last question then: is Apps2SD easy to install via the GOT menu, or should I consult a guide or walkthrough?

Lokust, I believe it's something to do with the bandwidth signatures within the core files... I had the same issue when I was in Toronto on Rogers running the ROM; my service was intermittent at best. Most of the time it said No Service.

Let me know if you find a fix for this as I'd love to use my phone in toronto when I'm there over xmas.

Cheers,

p.s. the phone dialer screen is absolutely hideous! Thought I saw that this had been fixed in V5. How can this be replaced?

edit: anyone have problems with the marketplace in V5? My downloads say "starting download..." but rarely start, or go extremely slow.

"-Switched to ADW Launcher" why??

I'm on GOT's 2.2.1 atm, but am also thinking of going back to Eclair and this ROM due to stability and speed...but the above makes me cringe a bit.

Haha I agree too..... V5 looks great in almost every place except the Dial Screen, I think it's quite bad.

I agree with the above.. why the change to ADW? It doesn't fit the theme of being fast and lite... In fact, I find ADW slow and bulky.

But the phone dialer looks fine IMO... not sure what the big deal is?

Even if you guys don't like ADW, you can always download LauncherPro from the market...?

The switch was primarily due to Launcherpro's ridiculous expiration, and nag screens about resizing widgets. It's become an annoyance.

@xslntx

True for those that didnt Buy plus, and for that I sympathize. (or unable to buy Plus)
But plus is very worth it. I recommend it to anyone. (it is only 2.99 lol)

@zninja

Sure flash is great but I have no REAL use for flash... lags, use my limited Canadian data and is a battery hog. Good if at home with wifi, but defeats the purpose since my computer is near me anyways lol (but others will probably disagree with me)

I'd rather stick with TelusLite v5 for now, and see if moto actually delivers a relatively bugless update. (though i HIGHLY doubt it :P )
