The rom I use is GOT 2.2.1

my only issue is how to install it on my phone...?

can it install on 2.2.1 or only on 2.1?

You would need to flash the 2.1 sbf (with vulnerable recovery) back onto your phone to install this mod.

Default Telus Lite V5 Updated - Default Theme & Corp Added

First of all, thanks to xslntx for this awesome mod that runs beautifully on the Milestone. I have tried every Froyo mod out there, and never seem satisfied with performance or bugs. I think I will wait for the official update, then see what happens. I have updated Telus Lite V5 with just a couple things that I wanted to change, and thought I would provide it as a Nandroid Backup for others that might be looking for the same. I have added the default theme & phone/contacts. I have also added Corporate Calendar and Directory. Nothing earth shattering, and I don't intend to add anything else to the mod.

Wipe your caches and restore from Nandroid as a backup.

Sorry, used Contacts from the wrong build. All tested and working fine

Is it possible for you to upload a nandroid like this, but with the ElegantSteel theme? I have grown to like it actually vs the default Milestone theme.

Also, how did you put the original Phone.apk back into the ROM? Did you use Android SDK?

Thx

[EDIT]Was just taking a look at the ElegantSteel thread under the "Themes" section, it looks like applying the theme will alter the Phone app's look, not the ROM?

Sucks, I like pretty much everything about the them except the ugly Phone/Contacts app.

Correct me if I'm wrong.. but isn't V5 skinned with elegant steel by default?

Yeah it is, I just don't like the look of the Phone app after it has been themed, but I thought it was because of the Telus Lite ROM, not because of the ElegantSteel theme. However that does not seem to the case after taking a look at the ElegantSteel thread.

Doh.

can someone pretty please upload the exchange-update.zip file that is link-broken now?
I want to try this ROM but can't because all my work contacts are on the exchange server..

EDIT: Nevermind, went on and installed the rom anyway and happy that i did. The exchange functionality is there without installing any update/patch.
It's all working smoothly but went on and downclocked the CPU to 800 Mhz. 1100 just doesn't seem reasonable to me.
