Default Unboxing my Dell Streak Car Dock (**Now with Road test!**)

Well,

My car dock has arrived, so I've done a unboxing video here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XgYDwlmVt7s

I'll be taking it out for a road test soon and will upload that as well.

I've just got back from the road test and I'm impressed the mount is sturdy and well made, with a simple yet effective locking mechanism.

Hey thanks for making that video I don't know what your cash value translates to US dollars but it sounds like a rip off. So as much as I watch the car dock, dell can go jump in a lake. With alot of the newer cars coming out I believe they are starting to come with Stereo bluetooth in them so you can have your music come through your speakers and if you get a call you switch over. My 2007 Nissan Sentra has bluetooth in it just not stereo.

I can not wait to get my streak, you Brits have all the fun :)

This was exactly the 2 videos I was looking for. Thank you VERYmuch for taking the time to do these.

Although yes I do think the car docking kit is a tad bit expensive, I will still be purchasing one the moment I can (I am in US where the Streak is MIA). It appears to be very solid and I would prefer to not go with a third party kit.

Gratz on the engadget story, your reviews are great. Im a bit more sold on the car dock, really does seem decent build quality, still for that cash I would expect the home and car dock bundle. Maybe they will see sense and drop the price a bit, till then Im also watching ebay for bargains...
