What is HTC Gene P3400i expected Battery Life?

What is the normal battery life one should get from a 1.5 year old HTC Gene? Like talktime, etc?

I can talk a max of 20-30 minutes on a single charge -- though I haven't counted.

I have to charge every 2 days (falls to almost zero by that time) when I have not used it AT ALL, other than as an alarm clock and a few texts.

This dramatic decrease happened long ago after my HTC Gene fell into a bucket of water and got soaked for a second or so. I dismantled immediately and let it dry, it worked when I tried 2-3 days later -- but battery life altered significantly!

Is it a battery problem -- or a mainboard problem?
I am afraid that I might buy a new battery BUT still not get normal battery life!

What is the price of an Original HTC Gene battery?

If you are so concerned, why don't you try their Service Center?

Do it and know sure-shot.. Get your peace of mind..


PS: Before that, try replacing with a frnds battery.. (Save you the efforts, loss and cash for the Service Centre)
