Question RESQUEST: Remove 'Snap to Grip' desktop Icons

Hello everyone,
i've searched a lot on the web, and in XDA forum, and only found here one topic related to nexus one, about this.

Is there any app that can remove this feauture of snap to grid ?
It's a waste of space on the desktop and it limits the number of widgets we can use because it says 'not enought space on this desktop', even if it is an 1x1 widget and its visible there is space enought !

Can anyone give + info ?

Thank You.

Fair enough.

Off-topic: Looking back at my post, it shows that I really can't type well at all, especially in the morning...
