This may be slightly off topic but I'm considering the Droid X.

I currently have a Sprint Everything plan that costs 79.00 a month. Unlimited minutes for mobile calls and 450 minutes for regular phone calls. Unlimited web and txt.

What is the closest plan from Verizon to what I have at Sprint and how much more would I be paying if I went with the Droid X?

Your base price would be $69.9x for 450 minutes plus data.

Beyond that, it depends what part of that package you really value. Hard to compare bundles. For instance, if you use Google Voice, you get free txt. Sprint includes their nav, but Google Nav is free and better. VZ includes only free VZ mobile, so depends who you tend to call. Sprint starts night-time unlimited at 7 instead of 9, so also depends when.

On the other hand, if you call landlines a lot (e.g. for work/business), for the $20 higher plan level, 900 minutes, you get 5 unlimited numbers. Though for a bit more ($30?) you can get altogether unlimited voice from Sprint.

Plus, both offer many and varying discounts depending on your employer or various community and professional groups, so that can make a difference too.
