I have tried to perform an direct update. It works perfectly except some apps are missing or screwed up.

So I restore the backup, reflash CM7.0.2.1 + latest gapps (I forgot gapps in the first attempt :P). And now it's running great. Really smooth.

Hi, don't know if this has been discussed before but I’m having an issue sometimes when I receive and make calls. I do not think it’s the wonk problem but its kinda similar.

Not all the time but pretty often when I make or get a phone call, the person on the other side can’t here me but I can hear him/her. Does not matter if I wait for a minute or so. The person still can’t hear me. I will then try to reboot my phone but the problem persist and eventually is gone after maybe a few hours.

I have the dewonkifier app and I have tried disabling noise cancellation by editing the build.prop file. That does not seem to work. I had the problem using CM 7.0 so I tried using the latest nightly but no luck there.. any one having similar problems and know how to fix it? Would hate it if I have to leave CM since I love the ROM.

does this work with cyanogen ROM's?

There is no pattern to this at all. I may try re-flashing #57 over the top. I may even try CM7.0.2.1 considering the battery savings those above have mentioned

According to the tweet, the 2.3.4 OTA is dropping for both the Nexus One and S over the next few weeks.

Supposed to include bug fixes as well as video chat.

The way I read it is bug fix for N1 and video chat for NS, and a suprise.
