if I understand you correctly - you see white bar over your new battery?
if so - go to rom's setup and change battery style.

Hi!!

flah zip from the recovery and the battery is circular, but in the middle rather than the number with%, leaving a white square ... and all the apps disappear

please help!!

Have you checked the "MIUI rom style (without numbers, shifted left)" at the bottom in the battery tab ?

I put framework from CyanogenMod-6.1.1-Spica-alpha8.4 but when tray to flash in recovery she seid error.How to fix that?

would deodexing just the framework-res.apk and then coocking it in UOT kitchen do the trick on odexed roms (rooted stock for example). ow,and should the framework-res.odex file be in /system/framework ? coz i can't seem to find it there

You can't do that, the whole ROM should be deodexed .

well i've tried using this method (even though it's in droid x's forum) but i got errors from step 3 and on. i would appreciate any helpful link about deodexing for htc desire
